Gothic series A grotesque set in quiet gardens, sat on its haunches and gripping the plinth it's on with stubby, clawed toes. With small horns, a ring through its squashed nose and resting its hands on a shield, it seems to be dozing. But with one eye closed and the other open warily, it's watching its surroundings, ready for anything.
Taken in the grounds of the Hollies hotel in Somerset in early May 2012, it's a gorgeous and timeless image so typical of the stately homes in that part of the country.
A fun, grumpy character that everyone will love!
